Born in Barcelona, Alba Esteve Raventós began her art training at the Barcelona Academy of Art, under the direction of Jordi Diaz Alamà. There, she took the intensive traditional drawing and painting program, in which she learned the fundamentals of traditional painting.
He also studied at the Odd Nerdrum School for two and a half months in Norway.
During these months as a student, he delved deeper into his search for a purpose in painting. He learned all of these concepts from comparing different paintings by great painters, from the philosophy meetings that took place in the mornings, and from watching his teacher paint.
His references are painters such as Käthe Kollwitz, Rembrandt, Eugène Carrière and Sargent.
His methodology in drawing and painting consists of understanding the basic concepts of painting in order to train the eye and be more efficient when doing our work. In this way we can take our projects towards the desired field with a solid foundation.
Currently, she is dedicated to painting and works as a teacher giving drawing and painting classes at the Taure Academy.
