A visual artist specializing in classical figurative art and an art teacher, her professional career has focused on transmitting her knowledge to adults and children, as she considers art to be a fundamental tool in the construction of the individual and is committed to this task. She enjoys teaching and wants people to see drawing and painting as a means for their own expression and if we add the learning of the technique to creativity, the process will be more conscious and complete.

While still teaching, Karen works as a visual artist. Her passion is surrealism; creating worlds that convey sensation and feeling is her artistic pursuit. She has a background in classical art and specializes in oil painting, although her favorite techniques are drawing and watercolor.
